Sesshin is an ancient form of Zen retreat that uses silence and sitting to help “clarify the mind.” A “triple” (3 x) will be:
20 min sit—5 min walk—20 min sit—5 min walk—20 min sit—10 min write.
There will be opportunities for one-on-one consultation—but non-essential conversation will be discouraged in an effort to deepen the silence.
